Hamburg Recycling Center

The Hamburg Recycling Center is the Town of Lyme's single-stream recycling drop-off, located at 213 Hamburg Road behind the Lyme Firehouse. Residents can drop off accepted recyclables without sorting, since all accepted items go in the same bin, and a separate white bin takes clothing, shoes and linens. The site does not accept household garbage, bulky landfill items, or household hazardous waste; those go to the Lyme Transfer Station or RiverCOG collection events instead. It is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Fridays through Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and is under 24/7 video surveillance.
