About This Center
The Gunnison County Recycling Center, located at 195 Basin Park Drive, offers recycling services to citizens and visitors. The center accepts aluminum cans, alkaline batteries (drop-off at Gunnison Post Office), corrugated cardboard (no waxed cardboard allowed), glass bottles (brown, green, and clear), magazines, newspapers, office paper, plastics (number 1 and 2, rinsed), and tin cans (remove labels and rinse). Unacceptable items include Styrofoam, packing peanuts, and paper, as well as certain liquids like acrylics, anti-freeze, brake fluid, diesel fuel, and more. The center is open 24/7 for drop-offs, with staff available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Visitors are encouraged to contact the Gunnison County Public Works Department for any questions regarding acceptable items.

Dori Platt (5/5 stars, 3 months ago): I go here all the time with big items that take up too much space in the recycling bin. There are open bins to place cardboard paper tin glass etc. Be prepared to separate out your recycling.

Or start washing yer containers and come to the grocery store with twenty bottles 6 boxes 12:bags and get yer own wire for twisty ties what ever that is? More weird stuff.
