About this center

Greif's Mobile recycling plant is an industrial paper and plastics recycling operation located at 1750 9th St., Bldg 44, in the Brookley Complex. As part of Greif's Recycling Group, the plant collects, processes, and bales recyclable fiber such as corrugated cardboard, paperboard, containerboard, pulp, printing paper, and specialty plastics, which are then shipped to Greif's paper mills. It serves commercial generators with collection (roll-offs, compactors, routes, and full loads), baling, waste audits, fiber analysis, brokerage, and salvage recovery of damaged and off-spec materials rather than serving as a public household drop-off.

Entrance for trucks is at the end of 8th street not on 9th. just across the street from the stop sign. Asked about opening times and was told that they open at 7AM but generally don't start unloading trucks until around 7:30 AM. Staff is very polite peofessional and friendly. There is plenty of room to maneuver into the docks. Unloading can take a while depending on what you are delivering though.

Come in off 8th St. Go on the scale and check in at window. Docks are on the right. Quick unload time and nice friendly people. Open doors at scale and slide tandems at dock area. A bit small but doable.
