About This Center
Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Creston, Lakeside, Olney, Somers, Coram, and Kila are drop-off locations for household garbage and recycling. These sites are open from 8am to 5pm, seven days a week, excluding major holidays. They do not accept larger household items or commercial waste. The County Landfill in Kalispell is where larger household items can be disposed of, in addition to accepting recycling. The landfill is open the same hours as the drop-off sites. Specific instructions include using the recycle bins for household recycling only, with no commercial or business use allowed. Visitors are urged to keep the container sites clean. The East Corridor site in Essex has limited seasonal hours from May to January, requiring sufficient snow melt. For more information or directions, contact Solid Waste at 1-406-758-5910.

Vickie Vandenberg (5/5 stars, 3 months ago): Clean well kept & safe. There is no residential trash pick-up. They now have some recycling bins for aluminum & cardboard. They also have room to drop off metal appliances rs like stoves.
