Flathead County Green Box Site - Kalispell

Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Creston, Lakeside, Olney, Somers, Coram, and Kila are drop-off locations for household garbage and recycling. These sites are open from 8 am to 5 pm, seven days a week, except on major holidays. They do not accept larger household items or commercial waste. The County Landfill in Kalispell is where larger household items can be disposed of, in addition to accepting recycling. The East Corridor site in Essex operates from May to January, with specific hours on certain days. Visitors are reminded that the recycle bins are for household recycling only, and commercial or business use is prohibited.
