About this center

E-Tech Recyclers & Asset Solutions opened in Colorado Springs on September 1, 2015, and runs a local electronics recycling and data destruction facility on North Prospect Street. It takes computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, televisions, monitors, printers, phones, tablets, cables, and peripherals from residents, businesses, schools, and nonprofits. Standard drop-offs need no appointment during business hours, and pickups are available for larger projects. Hard drives, SSDs, and other data-bearing media get physical destruction, with serialized reporting and a Certificate of Destruction available. The facility also shreds dry paper documents through Iron Mountain and weighs the paper at the counter. Cardboard, hardcovers, and three-ring binders are refused; staples and paper clips can stay.

I recently dropped off several old phones and storage devices for recycling. I had some concerns about secure data deletion and the staff was more than happy to address them. They took the time to retrieve my devices from my already handed pile even after the following business day and walked me through their data-wiping process with complete transparency. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Overall it was a positive experience and I’d return for future e-recycling needs.

A friendly affordable solution for your recycling needs. Personnel are quick and eager to help answer questions or facilitate recycling your material. Easy to find and plenty of parking--plus they have a drive up ramp if you have stuff in bulk. Definitely recommend.
