Duke's Junk Recycling runs two drop-off yards for the Austin area, one on Burnet Road in Austin and one on Hog Eye Road in Manor, where staff help unload and point customers to the right pile. The Manor yard covers east Austin, Del Valle, Elgin, Pflugerville, and the 130 corridor. Every trailer gets sorted at the gate. Furniture in resale condition goes to donation, appliances and scrap metal go to a metals recycler, mattresses are broken down for fiber and steel, electronics go to a certified e-waste processor, and clean metal and cardboard are recycled. The same family-owned company runs pickup junk removal, estate and garage cleanouts, hot tub, piano, and shed removal, small demolition, and land clearing with its own trucks and trailers.

Anytime I need help with disposing I will totally use Dukes again!! I went to the manor location and they were so kind and helpful and even gave me a hand picked bouquet of flowers from their garden. Love their customer service!

Called in the AM and had junk and a mattress picked up by early afternoon. They kept me updated through day about exactly when they would be arriving as well. Quick pick-up and very courteous. Would definitely recommend and use again.
