Greg Montgomery (3/5 stars, 3 weeks ago): Staff were there cleaning up when I arrived and they were very friendly. The location is limited slightly on what you are able to recycle for instance no large glass pieces and no wood. The main reason for the mid star review is the site access. To pull in and then out of the drop off location you must drive over the deepest potholes. The car in front of me bottomed out I bottomed out got stuck and stalled my car ended up having to rock it to get the rear tires out of the hole. Worse the potholes are unavoidable they span the entire entrance. Only go here if you are driving a truck

Andrew Kirby (5/5 stars, 2 years ago): As the City decided that it would no longer recycle glass but needed instead to spend $1 million on a process to generate silica (or sand as it is also known go figure) getting rid of all the beer and wine bottles becomes ever more of a challenge. I was using one location which looked as though a bomb had exploded with glass all over the parking lot. This I'm glad to say is well maintained and also accepts papers and plastics. A little hard to find its behind the Fire Station on Mission and Silverlake. No fees.
