About this center
CMC Recycling Tampa has worked from its North 62nd Street yard since 1957. The concrete lot gives retail sellers room to unload, and staff walk each customer through the scrap process. For larger accounts the yard runs flatbed and open-top container trucks and offers roll-off container service within a 75-mile radius.
The yard buys copper grades, insulated copper wire, yellow and red brass, brass radiators, aluminum cans, sheet and cast aluminum, clean aluminum wheels, 304 stainless steel, clean lead, automotive lead batteries, and ferrous scrap from prepared steel to cast iron and shred. Sellers must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license or state ID. Florida regulates many scrap items, and those require proof of ownership and are paid by check mailed within 24 hours.

Great folks. Best prices. All the other scrap yards sell to Commercial Metals. Been doing business with them for decades now.
