About This Center

**Recycling Drop-off Centers:** The City of Temple offers two convenient recycling drop-off centers in addition to the curbside recycling program. The Solid Waste Complex located at 2611 E. Ave H is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors are instructed to take the first left, stop on the scale, and check-in. The Recycle Drop-off Center at 602 Jack Baskin Drive, situated at the northeast corner of Avenue H and South 31st Street behind the Gober Party House, is accessible 24/7. Accepted items at these centers include aluminum cans, cardboard (all boxes except those with liners, food remnants, or detergent residue), glass bottles and jars of all colors, magazines, junk mail, phone books, newspapers, paperback books, and plastics labeled 1-3 (excluding easily tearable plastics like plastic wrap).
