Pasadena residents are encouraged to participate in the city's recycling efforts, with over 100 tons of recyclables collected and submitted to a materials recovery facility by Frontier Waste Solutions in the first month of residential garbage service. Residents are advised to use proper recycling carts and follow guidelines such as not bagging recyclables, as all items must be placed loosely in specified containers to avoid contamination issues.
