Cats Auto Salvage buys scrap cars and trucks seven years and older, running or not, and parts them out in Lansing. Owner and operator Jeff Stockwell runs one of the largest used part yards in the greater Lansing area, family owned and specializing in older foreign and domestic vehicles. Engines, transmissions, tires, batteries, body parts such as fenders and bumpers, and OEM and aftermarket parts fill the inventory, and staff locate parts that are not in stock.
A state-certified scale sits on site, checked regularly by state officials, and the yard buys scrap metal from the public and from businesses. Disabled vehicles arrive by tow or under their own power, and a separate U-pull yard keeps its own weekday hours.
