Blanco County Recycling Center

Dorothy Cooper (5/5 stars, 11 months ago): So happy to have a place to recycle. It's convenient and the attendant is great. Maybe someday we'll be able to recycle plastics too. Even though I've cut back on buying things in plastic it's sometimes unavoidable.

Kent Sutton (1/5 stars, 4 years ago): Visited today before voting to drop off cardboard for recycling. The attendant was loading boxes into the baler with his back to me as I began to drop my broken down boxes into the cage designated for cardboard. The attendant turned around as I was putting the boxes into the cage and got peeved at me because I didn't wait for him to come get it from me. How was I supposed to know??? The signs show to place the broken down boxes into the cage which is what I did. Sorry I inconvenienced the attendant (NOT!) He was rude and acted like I had done something wrong. This was nothing more than laziness on his part. I am a Blanco County taxpayer and expect ALL county employees and representatives to treat me and all taxpayers with respect.
