Car bodies are accepted at Bayside Recycling only after fluids are drained and the gas is removed. The Duluth yard at 220 S 39th Ave W, just off the freeway, also buys cast, sheet, prepared and unprepared iron, plate, structural steel, dirty motor blocks, steel turnings, and torch scrap. Payment is the same day. Hours run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Non-ferrous purchases cover copper, bare and insulated copper wire, sheet copper, aluminum cans, sheet, clip, turnings, cast, breakage, and rims, plus yellow brass, stainless steel, electric motors, radiators, and catalytic converters. Roll-off boxes are set on job sites for loading. End-dump trucking, a mobile shear, and a mobile crane are part of the same operation. The company belongs to the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association and the Association of Women in Metals Industry.

Brought in a welder loaded with copper I was told there had to be 500# to get any payment. Website says they pay for aluminum & copper I wonder what 500# of cans looks like.

I just called there to see what pop cans are going for. He said $.25/lb. and basically hung up on me. I also called Simko in Superior. That lady was pleasant and cans are $.35/lb. Bring your cans to Superior!

Rude staff. Very rude to the sailors walking on the road leaving the CN Duluth property. Threatened to call the cops on me because I was waiting on a public roadway.
