About this center
The Barksdale Base Recycling Center is a drop-off recycling facility on Barksdale Air Force Base, located south of the commissary and open 24/7 for approved materials. The center accepts corrugated cardboard, white paper, phone books, magazines, wrapping paper, brown paper bags and mixed paper products in its dark brown containers, with separate containers for aluminum cans only. Plastic bottles, plastic jugs, plastic bags, shredded paper and glass bottles are not accepted and must be taken off-base for recycling. The base has 65 dark brown recycling containers throughout the installation; questions can be directed to 318-456-5293.
