How to Recycle Window Glass
Residential and commercial window panes, double-glazed units, storm windows, and architectural glass panels. Window glass has a different composition than container glass and requires specialized recycling.
Quick answer
No, window glass isn't accepted with bottles and jars; it's a different glass that melts at another temperature and contaminates the batch. Don't put it curbside. Wrap broken panes safely for the trash, or ask a local glass or C&D recycler about flat-glass programs.
