Good guys. They care about the community and the environment. I was pretty uneducated about the scrap metal process it would have been easy to take advantage of that fact but instead they gave me some tips on how to get the most for my scrap metal and the importance of keeping it out of the landfill. I tell everyone to go to The Recycling Depot.

They don't pay the best rates but they make up for that by being simple and conveniently located right off I5. For scrap loads you weigh in unload by the pile then weigh out and get paid. you can be in and out very quickly and simply.

They pay far below market scrap prices. Prices vary depending on the customer. If they see an opportunity they will take advantage. "If you were a bigger customer we'd pay you more" (their words not mine). I get it they're "just the little guy" but you'd think if that were the case they might be a little less patronizing and shady and run a more honest business.
