About This Center

The Arc Eastern Connecticut is a non-profit organization established in 1952 that provides advocacy and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the region. Vera Gray (1/5 stars, a year ago): Unfortunately my suspicion was proven to be right. Went several times to return bottles and cans and each time I thought it seems like I should have gotten more money back. I bring large amounts as it is quite a hike for me. This time I counted all the returns (over 400) made sure they are all CT returns. And yes turns out she gave me $3.95 less than what I counted. She said well there were some crushed bottles that I can't put through the machine... 79 of them????

bj Roach (3/5 stars, 6 years ago): Wished you had updated July 3rd hours. We arrived at 12:50 to find you closed at 12:45 today. So it is off to Price Chopper as I don’t want my trunkful of bottles to stink in the trunk until Thursday. Maybe next time!

Matthew Mac (1/5 stars, 6 years ago): Big lady in charge at the time today was extremely rude because i had a few cans from RI that didnt have the returnable stamp on them. Made me sort through the whole bag and take them out. Only found 6 in a huge bag. I drove an hour to this place to leave after 1 bag and went to Price Chopper to finish the rest. This lady has a control problem. The rest of the staff was friendly. Wont be back there. Bad experience.
