Tear A Part Auto Recycling - Salt Lake City - Recycling Center in Salt Lake City, UT

I've been to both locations...Salt Lake City and Ogden and honestly they are both good. I've always been treated with respect and given fair prices. I will however say the SLC facility is a lot cleaner and it's yard has asphalt down which to me is a lot better than having to traipse around in mud holes. I also think they need to extend their hours to be commiserate with the season. Like right now the sun is setting after 7:30 yet they still close as if it sets at 4:30.

I had a fantastic time @ Tear A Part Auto Recycling! I went to see if I could find a part for my 31 year old vehicle! The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful to see that you could find what you were looking for. Their system is up and running with the location of the vehicle that is similar to yours.Talking with Shane Sirosky Tear A Parts Store Manager he was extremely helpful with information about the facility. Even though I was unable to get the part that I needed they had quite a large number of vehicles that were similar to mine so I could get the item that I was looking for. Going in I knew it would be a very long shot for me to get what I needed. I was looking for a cover for the air conditioning system and it was made with a material that will break down after a lot of years. I did learn some valuable lesson while looking for what I needed. Most definitely I will be back to Tear A PART for future vehicle needs!! Thanks again Shane and your team for making it easy to use and what a pleasure to work out! Was my first visit to Tear a Part. Inventory was well placed and in order. Was easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was actually very nice which you don’t usually get when you go to a salvage yard. I drove all the way from Utah County and will go again. A good experience overall thank you
