Summit Blvd Recycling Drop-off Center

While I understand the discontinuation of curbside recycling presents a huge inconvenience to both the environment and residents I'm pleased the City has maintained a 24-hour recycling drop-off location. On occasion I've encountered limited availability of specific bins (cardboard only sometimes) and large amount of trash on the ground but it's infrequent. For those seeking a convenient alternative I highly recommend the City's monitored recycling center on North Palafox. While access is limited to Saturdays the staff are consistently professional courteous and helpful. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained fostering a safe and efficient recycling experience.

Thank gosh this recycling drop-off lot has been permanently reopened. With our shopping habits changing and more cardboard boxes being shipped to our homes our city-supplied curbside recycling containers aren't always adequate. I appreciate having a conveniently located drop-off with 24-7 security cameras next door to an always-open fire station.

Great they have it but always full. When do they pick it up? Sad we don't have curbside recycling pickup like the rest of Florida.
