Story Road Recycling LLC - Recycling Center in San Jose, CA

Certain workers refuse to take your glass and will throw it away or put it off to the side for personal use. They don't give the right amount of money ever I took one load of the same amount to ranch town and 3x what this place gave me. Nothing different except ranch Town is a legit recycling center. The women that are in the windows are rude and act like they don't understand English or are In such a rush while sitting in ac on there chairs. No matter how much you complain this place and management will gas light you into thinking they're running a legit business with good credibility and intentions which is the complete opposite. Whoever owns this is just a scammer who employs people without papers and socials no knowledge of what RECYCLING means or what can be recycled and who barely even have formal training to communicate with average people and can't provide any type of customer services since NO ONE speaks English.

was just here a little before noon line was short. i come here to sell my cans and water bottles (all with CA CRV) every 6 months so I know approx how much im getting in cash which was usually around $50 but today they gave me a mere $28! Ripp Off! you cant even see the scales because it’s cordoned off! Cashier wont give your receipt if you dont ask for it. The one star is for for how the place improved including the bins with wheels! Never coming back here again!

Update: They improved and have good quality service. They ignored me when I was first in line. They ignored my glass in the bucket. I had to argue with them. They were not helpful. I got money but some places offer more for glass. They don't speak English here or at least pretend not to.
