Stearns County Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Marianna Bassimakopoulos (4/5 stars, a year ago): This is a fantastic way to get rid of paint antifreeze oil household batteries and more. It's my second time here and I didn't like it so much the first time. The building is all the way to the back of 5th Ave South. It's on the right and it has a couple flags in front. A gate will open and you follow the signs to the dropoff location. They also have a reuse store in front but no one is inside. Go to the website for more information. Michael Allen (3/5 stars, 2 years ago): Great option to drop off old paint & chemicals - But don't waste time running to the "Free" store - it's an empty room. Not a single person to talk to - Clearly I'm missing something with this opportunity.

Kevin Eldstrom (5/5 stars, 2 years ago): Great service for disposing of paint and other household chemicals. I love that they put usable products out for reuse in their small storefront. The best part is that they are free but the selection is typically small.
