The City of Devils Lake's Recycling Center, located at 205 2nd St NE, offers recycling services to both City and County residents. Acceptable items for recycling include corrugated cardboard, glass bottles, glass jars, newspaper, office paper, plastic bottles, tin/aluminum cans, and used motor oil. Non-acceptable items include food/drink boxes and high-gloss materials. The center is open for drop-off during specified hours and provides access to a tank for used motor oil disposal. Additionally, the city provides special pickup services in the spring and fall for residents with can service, allowing them to dispose of up to 5 cubic yards of items for free. Residents are advised to place items out for pickup on designated days or dump them at the inert landfill.
