How does a recycling center work?
The average waste management service typically only collects paper, cardboard boxes, aluminum cans, milk cartons, plastic containers, and glass bottles in its recycling bins. They don’t often take larger items such as kitchen appliances, refrigerators, scrap metals, furniture, or construction building materials. PADNOS Alma recycling center takes items that aren’t accepted in household recycling bins. Then, the recycling station will process the materials for reuse. They’re often turned into raw materials and sent to different businesses to create new products.
What documentation do I need to bring to scrap items?
You need to bring a current, valid government-issued picture ID. If you are bringing in a vehicle, you will also need to bring the title.
