Recycling centers in Newport

Second Chance Towing buys junk cars for cash from its base at 400 West Newport Pike and picks them up free. The process starts with a quote form or phone call listing the year, make, model, mileage, whether the car runs and drives, and whether the engine, transmission, and catalytic converter are still on it, with photos attached. The customer then gives an address and a time slot, and the driver inspects the car against that description before paying cash. The company reports more than 20 years serving the community and also moves furniture for a fee. It keeps hours seven days a week.
