ACHIEVE Human Services, a 501(c)(3) social enterprise serving people with disabilities in Yuma since 1960, runs its electronics recycling and refurbishing at Yuma Enterprise Services on East 40th Street. This location only takes the drop-offs, free of charge. Accepted items are computers, printers, scanners, copiers, routers, and servers. CRT monitors, kitchen appliances, beauty products, household items, and VHS tapes are refused. Every hard drive and storage device is sanitized and wiped, with a fee based on the service and a Certification of Sanitation issued when the job is done. Working computers and laptops are accepted for refurbishing during normal working hours.

Yuma holds its household hazardous waste collections at the city Public Works Facility on South 2nd Avenue, three Saturdays a year from 8 AM to noon. The program is free to residents of the City of Yuma and Yuma County, funded through the city's Environmental Fee, and sponsored by the City of Yuma, the City of Somerton and Yuma County. It has won the Arizona Governor's Pride Award. Motor oil, paint, household cleaners, antifreeze, solvents, pesticides, fertilizers and household batteries are taken, along with up to five tires off the rims and household electronics such as home computer components, TVs, cell phones and small appliances. Residents unload onto designated tables and follow a marked entrance and exit route. Business waste, explosives, ammunition, pressurized gas, lead-acid batteries, radioactive waste, prescription drugs and sharps are refused.
