The White River Regional Solid Waste Management District provides electronic waste recycling services for residents in Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Sharp, Stone, Van Buren, White, and Woodruff Counties in North Central Arkansas. Accepted items for recycling include computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, CPUs, hard drives, printers, tablets, laptops, cell phones, servers, game consoles, MP3 players, digital cameras, and more. However, they do not accept flat-screen TVs, old tube TVs, or old CRT tube monitors. Residents are advised to contact their local waste transfer station or class one landfill for safe disposal of these items. The district enlists certified electronic waste recyclers and de-manufacturers to ensure data security and proper recycling procedures.
