Sandoval County Landfill

I came to the landfill because I had a load of leaves dirt and other stuff in my truck that I had to dump for my Pastor. I was met by Luis Martinez. He works here at this landfill. He helped me remove everything from the truck. He was kind and very professional. I want to say thank you to him personally for helping me because I was going through a tough day and he made my tough day better. I believe Sandoval County landfill should do something nice for their employees that interact with people. They need more kind people like Luis in this world. Thank you

Staff was absolutely awful. I drove 30 minutes away from Albuquerque to throw away two bags of carpet. The Eagle Rock Convenience center explained they couldn't take carpet no matter how small it was and was very polite and gave me the address and apologized for the inconvenience. I drove up and got out of the car and the teller guy was blunt and rude. I gave him my card and almost immediately he shoved the drawer back out and said "Cash only". No "I'm sorry." Or "There's an ATM at xyz." I explained my situation and he was completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. I would have been happy to go find an ATM if he had a little compassion but I'd rather spend more money somewhere else to have them take my two trash bags. I'll never come here again.

As I was dumping old sink old flooring old countertop and lots of cardboard boxes from new flooring the guy who sits in the tractor moving all the crap came over and filled a paper out in front of me getting my license plate color & make of my car etc.. I asked him if everything was ok - he said yes and that he was just doing an inspection. He said everything I was throwing out was fine -- but then when I was done - he asked me to sign the paper and it was a warning. I asked what the warning was for and he said -- "oh nothing" -- just formality. He has to do it. I said I shouldnt be "warned" if I wasn't doing anything wrong. He was shady and deceptive. Not cool at all.
