City says Republic will replace after I submit a damage claim. I call Republic. Republic claims they are not liable and I must have a waiver of liability on file saying as much. I have no signed waiver of liability as it is a city service they are contracted for and signing up is a phone call no paperwork involved. Republic has shady customer service agent making false claims. Love to find a group of people treated to the same lip service so we can create a class.

I made another visit today and to my surprise was charged $174 in the same truck. I tried to reason with the lady that the volume of the truck is exactly the same but she was unwilling to listen and charged me for a double load. She explained that the volume of our items was exceeding the volume of our enclosed box truck which is impossible as the volume of the box truck is a fixed rate. I will be calling to talk to a supervisor until I get a refund for $87.

Firstly the prices were higher than a giraffe's neck during a basketball game! I mean seriously I needed a loan just to dump my old toaster. I felt like I was paying to send my trash to a luxury resort instead of its final resting place. And don't even get me started on the staff. They were as friendly as a porcupine with a headache. I asked about the exorbitant fees and the women at the counter just shrugged and said "That's the price of progress." Well excuse me if I prefer regression at these rates! In conclusion if you're looking for a place to lighten your load without lightening your wallet steer clear of this transfer station. You'll save more money by launching your trash into space with Elon Musk than dealing with these daylight robbers!
