About This Center
Longfellow Park, Elm Street and Forest Avenue North in North Fargo, accepts all recyclables including flattened cardboard, cans, glass, plastics, magazines, newspapers, and yard waste. The Waste Water Plant at the intersection of 10th Street and 37th Avenue North also serves as a drop site. In South Fargo, recyclables can be dropped off at various locations such as the Lift Station on 42nd Street and 2nd Avenue Southwest, the Water Plant on 1408 South River Road, and the Lincoln School on 21st Avenue South. Specific instructions include not recycling plastic bags at drop sites but at F-M area grocery stores instead, and recyclables must be loose, not bagged. Notably, the Family Fare site in North Fargo is closed, redirecting visitors to the Mickelson site or the City of Fargo Solid Waste location. Additionally, the City of Fargo Household Hazardous Waste Facility on 43 1 2 Street North accepts all recyclables except yard waste.
