Recycling Center - Mobile - Recycling Center in Mobile, AL

Convenient but sometimes rude attendants. Apparently “closes at 5” means 4:50 so they can clock out at 5. Got here 5 minutes before 5:00 and the gate was closed and the attendant was sitting in her car refusing to take my items.

Extremely convenient and easy recycling process at this recycling center. This is a "single-stream" recycling center where all recyclables including plastic (with the diamond symbol on it) paper aluminum and glass go into one container. So this makes it super easy to just dump all your recyclables in their compactor and not have to sort through your recyclables. I hope the people who actually sort through the crushed recyclables get paid well though that must not be easy.

I just found out about this place after a long search for a recycling center in Mobile. I use to recycle years ago when the government street recycling center was open. Everyone i asked about recycling didnt seem to know where the center existed. When I came to my senses and called Mobile 311. This is great now I can finally have the peace of mind that my plastics won't end Upton a landfill or down in some fishes troat. Can I get an Amen.
