Recycle St Pete
About This Center
The City of St. Petersburg offers recycling collection service to residential utility customers to reduce landfill waste. Recycling and trash are collected curbside or in the alley on designated days. Accepted recyclables include glass containers, aluminum & steel cans, plastics #1-7 (no plastic bags), newspapers, magazines, and more. Plastics guidelines specify items like plastic bags, Styrofoam, and thin plastic packaging as non-recyclable. Residents can use the Waste Wizard for verification. Recycling bins should be placed correctly for collection, and missed pickups can be rescheduled by contacting the Sanitation Department. Zone-specific recycling calendars are provided annually, and recyclable materials can be dropped off at designated brush sites. The City also offers other recycling sites for materials not accepted at brush sites. Operating hours and locations are available for convenient recycling options.

Tristan Oberlin (2/5 stars, a year ago): Probably better to go here if you just have paper products to throw in really quick. There are lots of wasps in one container and it if you have plastic bottles the slits make it where you have to do one bottle at a time. I got one bottle in and the wasps started coming. On to the next recycle center….
