Recycle From Home picks up CRV containers from homes and offices. Ryan Bloom, Damion Hickman, and Ryan Hickman started it in 2020 as a CalRecycle pilot with Irvine. Vans collect pre-sorted loads for processing at the company facility. Headquarters are in Santa Ana, Orange, and Costa Mesa.
Pickup covers Irvine, Corona, Orange, Rancho Santa Margarita, Riverside, Laguna Niguel, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Rossmoor, Midway City, Villa Park, and unincorporated Orange County. Paid items carry a CA CRV mark: aluminum cans, glass bottles including wine and liquor, plastic #1 through #7, and bi-metal cans. Milk, infant formula, medical food, and non-beverage containers are refused. One consumer is limited to 25 pounds of aluminum or plastic and 250 pounds of glass per day. Refunds go out electronically or by check within one business day. Free e-waste pickup is offered.

I was throwing the refundable recycling in with the recycling that the city takes. However I drink a lot from containers that have a deposit on them. Now I toss them in the bags that I am given then the bag is full I scan a barcode in their app and schedule a pickup. Then I put the bag by the front door. This is so easy!! No loading up the car and driving to the recycling centre waiting around etc. Taking the hour or hour and a half to do that is not worth my time. However this program is so effortless. Hell they even give me the pages. I get about $10 bucks for each pickup.

love this service! they take 10% off your recycling refund + $0.25 if you use an electronic refund (venmo/etc). but they pick up from your door and drop off bags/labels. well worth the low price!

Their website is super easy to follow to set up a pick up. And their arrival time is spot on and great customer service. Great job with this young man Ryan Hickman for giving back to communities. Much appreciated.
