Point Recycling - Recycling Center in New York City, NY

Great experience. For the uninitiated this is a private garbage disposal business where you can throw trash out. The price as of this review is 105/ton with that as the minimum. You drive up to the office and weigh your vehicle on a scale. Then drive to the dump in the building across the street unload your trash. Then drive back to the scale and they calculate the difference. The two office ladies were helpful and kind. Easy to work with especially on a quiet day.

Very friendly receptionist who speaks Polish and English and makes you feel very welcome especially if it's your first time dumping there - she even gave me a handful of candies (Tootsie Rolls & Jolly Ranchers - both of them being my favorite). The other workers there are also very friendly and will direct you where you need to go and brief you on what you need to do. They make sure that you don't damage or scratch your truck when you're backing in or out of the place. I don't know for my first time so just felt very welcome to the place and I am confident in writing that I will do business with this company again in the near future. Perhaps even set up an account with them - hopefully they'll throw in discount to the already cheap rates they have. I am in no shape or form affiliated so be confident when you read this that Im not related or a friend with the owner and just giving them a fake review. This is a 100% LEGIT review from a working class general contractor. I will update this review after I have been several times to see if this place will hold its truly deserved 5 Stars that I have given them today. Papa Bless You Guys. Hugh M.

Great company!! The friendly staff made it easy to dispose of a truck load of debris quickly and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be using Point Recycling in the future.
