Manages the Solid Waste Disposal Complex, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center, and provides a Where Does It Go? Search Tool for finding reuse, recycling, and disposal options. Customers are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while at the Solid Waste Disposal Complex. The mission is to manage waste as a resource with a vision of achieving zero waste to landfill by 2050. Updates on the Solid Waste Ordinance can be viewed on the Solid Waste Ordinance Revisions webpage. Various programs are also available, including the Clean Marina Program and the Small Quantity Generator Program.
