Stacy Anderson (2/5 stars, a year ago): The WORST place to set this station up! There is always a mile long line to get in as the facility only holds 2-3 cars at once. This line blocks the gas station entrance as well as the flow of traffic at the intersection. I asked the manager there before bringing old tools in to be recycled ♻️ as this is the point of the center. Upon bringing said tools in today and waiting 20 + minutes to get in I was told they do not take these items. Waste of a morning.

Kimberly Turcios (5/5 stars, a year ago): I needed a place to drop off my mother’s diabetic insulin needles after she passed away along with a few other household cleaning items and was referred here. My experience was positive. Yes there is a bit of a wait but it’s expected with any free Los Angeles City service. Staff were polite/helpful and will answer your questions. They’re open Saturday and Sundays making it convenient for us who work during the week. Use common sense if you’re going to be using a service like this. Put your needles in a container for your safety and that of the staff prior to dropping off and go to the LA City website to know what their requirements are for dropping off items. I can tell a lot of people who posted reviews here didn’t do their research and are trying to get away with dropping off things they’re not supposed to. Do the right thing to help the environment and be thankful that free services like this exist to help us do our part. Just don’t be rude/entitled about it like a few of the people on here. It’s a free service people!! I 10/10 recommend coming here and will be returning myself. :)
