Drop-offPaperCardboard
About this center
Mobile County built this drop-off and processing facility, and Goodwill Gulf Coast has run it since it opened in November 2014. It takes residential household recyclables from the general public seven days a week, then ships them on to other processors.
The accepted list covers paper, paperboard, cardboard, plastics #1 through #7, glass, aluminum, steel, plastic bags, clothing, flat screen TVs and monitors, computers and printers, and small appliances. Batteries, light bulbs, tires, yard waste, scrap metal, paint, motor oil, Styrofoam, and large appliances stay out, and the accepted list shifts with market demand.

We have been recycling at a different place and I was looking for a closer one since we moved. This is a very organized recycling facility with clearly defined collection containers. The only issue is people parking right in front of the containers instead of parking at the parking lots and blocking the entrance. May be a sign at the gate and by the collection Bins might help. Reduce- Reuse-Recycle . Thanks to the team and Mobile County!

Love the fact that you can recycle everything. Just ask for specialty items that are in the back.
