About this center
The City of San Diego runs its only active landfill at 5180 Convoy St, with a green waste drop-off at the Miramar Greenery on the same site. The Greenery turns yard waste into compost, mulch and wood chips for sale. Both close Sundays and on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
