Milwaukie BottleDrop Redemption Center
About This Center
Self-serve machines are temporarily unavailable at BottleDrop Redemption Centers in Eugene, with all individual container counts being done by Stream Count at the Bulk Count station. The drop door will be open for easy access. In Bend, limited parking is available due to construction. BottleDrop offers various redemption options, including self-serve returns for up to 350 empty containers per person per day, hand-counted returns at select locations for up to 50 containers per day, and the Green Bag Program where customers can drop full bags of containers for redemption at participating locations. Participants can receive refund value as cash or store credit, with the option to link their BottleDrop account to an Oregon College Savings Plan account for education savings. The system is noted for redeeming and recycling over two billion containers annually, making it one of the most effective in the nation. Visitors can also engage in the Blue Bag program to support Oregon nonprofits.

Also this is the cleanest location with some good people watching but the employees make an effort to keep the nonsense down to a minimum. Because of their efforts this is also the fastest bottle drop I have ever been too! I moved to NE and still make the drive. Also thank you bottle drop employees! You're hard work does not go unrecognized!!!

Michaela Howard (5/5 stars, 4 years ago): Just visited this location for the first time. I've used other Bottle Drop locations in the past. With this being one of the only bottle return stations it's definitely in high demand. I went today Thursday. I got there round 9:30am it opens at 9am. There was a fairly long line when I got there and I was hesitant to stay. I decided to stay and the line went surprisingly fast! Only took round 36 min from the time I got there till the time it took me to get to the front of the line. They have marker posts up keeping everyone 6ft apart while waiting in line. If you come in pairs you still have to stand 6ft apart from the person or people you came with. Once I got to the front of the line they asked if I would like to have them count my cans for me. I said yes. They counted my cans very fast and I got my ticket. No more than $35 in cans per person. I was in line and out of there in less than an hour! From the time I got in line to the time I got out of there was less than an hour. I was very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend it to others needing to return bottles and cans. Both the line and the facility are wheelchair accessible. The staff is on top of things and is helpful and courteous. There is also the option to buy their green bags and drop them off for them to count and scan into a card you purchase within the facility. Wait times may vary depending on the time of day you go. I'd recommend going earlier in the day closer to their 9am opening time.

If you feel like being yelled at and kicked out for returning too many cans despite the fact that you are no where close to the limit then go here. I was actually shocked by the nasty attitude towards customers and will never ever return. Not if someone paid me.
