About this center
Mesa Oil opened in Albuquerque in 1981 and runs its New Mexico recycling facility at 20 Lucero Road in Belen, one of three plants along with Phoenix and Commerce City. The Belen plant takes used oil and other petroleum products by truck or rail, recycles them, and stores the output as fuel for regional customers. It holds an EPA ID number for the site.
Mesa Environmental, a division of Mesa Oil, collects used and waste petroleum products and oil-contaminated water from large and small generators, using tankers from 4,000 to 7,000 gallons. The company supplies burner fuel to asphalt hot mix plants and delivers across Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, and parts of Texas. Orders go through a 24-hour dispatch line.

Smell that is coming from their facility/area is making my family and I literally sick! For over an hour ALL we smell is gas/oil! This is definitely a health hazard/health violation!!!

Just called to inquire about recent natural gas smells. Mark answered and was rude and said we don't own it and hung up.
