About this center
The McAlester Recycling Center, at the former National Guard Armory at 301 E. Polk Avenue, is a community drop-off run in partnership with Keep McAlester Beautiful. It accepts glass, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, foil, paper, phone books, magazines, newspaper, paperboard, and corrugated cardboard, and now takes cooking oil in a lidded container placed under the designated sign.
The center can also lend recycling bins free of charge for community events that generate cans or bottles. Great place to recycle your aluminum cans plastic bottles glass and cardboard. Just wish I got my bottle deposit back but glad to be recycling.

When I get there they said No to tvs and printers. Not what I was told on the phone. Not the way to do business.
