Those items can be taken to the facility at 705 Wichita on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a fee, or to the SH130 Landfill. You can also schedule a curbside pickup by contacting Republic Services at 800-664-2833 (fee applies).

Can I drop off items after hours?

No. Items dropped outside the facility after hours are considered illegal dumping and individuals doing so will be prosecuted. The facility is video monitored.

I am extremely disappointed with the service since Waste Connection acquired Superior Disposal. Our scheduled trash pickup day is Tuesday yet we have consistently experienced delays of 2-3 days. When I reach out for assistance the representatives are unhelpful and quite rude. They provide no real solutions and simply say they will be there soon which is not acceptable. I hope they can improve their service as this has been a frustrating experience.

Used oil (both motor and cooking)? Sure. Cardboard of course. Old TV? Yup e-waste is fine. Basically just no paint or other chemicals nothing hazardous and no glass (not anymore recycling glass just isn’t a thing anywhere too expensive). So easy. And free. And they WILL CATCH YOU if you screw it up so don’t try it.

A good system in lockhart...small dumpster but very efficient..keep the landfills empty!
