The drop-off center is open to all Lake County residents. Proof of residency is required. Commercial waste is not accepted at any drop-off center.

How many tires can I drop off, and what is the size limit?

Tires 40 inches and below are accepted at a limit of 5 per year at the drop-off center. More than 5 tires are accepted at the Central Facility in Tavares for a fee.

Went to dispose tree limbs from Helene. Both workers were rude & uncooperative. Refuse to allow me to dump. Said had to be 4 ft. Nothing above. I thought facility was there to accept tree limbs. Is it better to dump on side of roadways? Trying to be proactive. Way to spend citizens tax money. Not good

The employees are very helpful! The facility is organized. You can recycle dispose of electronics metals biohazard furniture and trash. The only materials they don't accept is construction materials.

This location is well organized for what they do and the workers are super friendly. I appreciate the friendly attitudes especially for what they do including working in the hot weather conditions. Keep up the good work.
