The Lake County Computer Hobbyist Group offers free recycling services to residents and businesses in Lake, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, and Geauga counties. They accept a wide range of electronic items for recycling, including computers, servers, keyboards, mice, speakers, networking equipment, hard drives, cameras, cell phones, video game systems, and more. The group aims to give old computer equipment a second life by rebuilding systems from spare parts to donate to those in need. They do not accept items such as glass screen televisions, hazardous chemicals, wooden housed appliances, or furniture. Visitors can drop off items at 1681 Trinity Rd, Madison, OH 44057, with drop-off hours from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. It is important to note that the group does not sell or service donated items and strictly enforces their list of accepted items to avoid abuse of their services.
