No use having a recording device if you don't set it up or get the messages off the machine. The don't keep regular hours. There are to operating times listed. 8 to4 1to 4.

Jefferson Co. appears to have closed the recycling center. The phone number is disconnected and they are never open. This is as of February 11th 2022. I find this disheartening as they seem to be focusing on building new additions and remodeling the court house but can't put forth a better effort for the recycling program. I am a resident of Jefferson County but will now have to look for a recycling center elsewhere. Maybe I should withhold county tax dollars to fund expenses for outside recycling resources.

This is a great recycling center it is always spotlessly clean the staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a drive through you pull around to the very back of Pope Furniture drive in they quickly unload your vehicle. Please consider bagging all of your plastic bottles milk jug and all other plastics card board and veg fruit ect cans and droppi9ng it off when you run to Lowes Brookshires or Staples. It's fast easy and good for the enviroment:)
