Krista Gehlbach (1/5 stars, 8 years ago): Came to recycle some fluorescent light bulbs and realized the household hazardous waste shed was closed. There was a sign taped to it so I started walking over to see if there was any information about hours (normally they're open Tue/Thurs 3:00-5:00 per their website). This man (didn't catch the name unfortunately) walks by and says "yeahhhhh..we're closed". So I say "I see that I just wanted to read the sign" and he says "it says: we're closed...you really should have called first what with the weather" (it isn't even snowing). I asked if there's anywhere else I could recycle the bulbs and he said no. Completely unhelpful first of all and I found his tone so rude and indignant it made me want to leave the light bulbs outside of the shed and bail.
