Ivan's Recycling

California Refund Value buyback is the work of Ivans Recycling at 8002 Zenith Drive in Citrus Heights. Founder Ivan P. opened the center in December 2017 for residents and local businesses bringing back CRV deposits on beverage containers. Clear, green, and brown glass, including liquor and wine bottles, should stay unbroken. Aluminum cans are accepted crushed or whole. Plastic CRV bottles of any size are taken when empty, with the California CRV mark still visible. Bi-metal beverage cans are a separate category from aluminum. Staff check, sort, weigh, or count each load, then pay the refund. Sorting before arrival shortens the visit. Monday through Friday the counter is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sunday is closed. Aluminum earns an extra per-pound refund on Tuesdays.
