Grand Forks Public Works and Recycling Center

North Public Works Facility located at 724 N. 47th St. in Grand Forks, ND offers garbage and recycling services to the community. The facility provides curbside pickup for recyclable materials every other week, with items to be placed on the berm by 7 AM on collection day. Residents can use their own containers of 36 gallons or request recycling totes from Public Works. Single-stream recycling is practiced, allowing for the mixing of all recyclable materials in bins or crates. Accepted items include aluminum tin cans, mixed plastic containers (#1-7), glass bottles and jars of any color, newspapers, magazines, cardboard, paperboard, shredded paper, and phone books. Not accepted for recycling are styrofoam, window glass, dishware, light bulbs, and plastic grocery bags.
