Honest workers equals honest business. There are a few places that skim you a little but this is NOT one of them. The Hispanic guy who takes the weight and pays you is cool. He is a man of the people probably doesn’t know how much I respect him.

So I just attempted to go here I asked where I should park because it was chaotic and the guy working starts flipping out at me saying they can't take cans and bottles and that I have to wait. So I left. They did appear to be taking cans and bottles though I think they just didn't want to serve me because I was a woman. 0 stars. P.S. I think some of these reviews are about the recycling center IN Glendale which happens to be outstanding. This one on Glendale Blvd in Echo Park however does not match their descriptions in any way.

What historical Wage and Hour Division case findings are recorded here?

DOL’s concluded-compliance-action dataset records 1 matched case for this employer name and physical address. Case 1844171, recorded trade name Glendale Recycling Center Inc, employer legal name Glendale Recycling Center Inc: findings period 2016-02-06 to 2018-02-05; source case violation count 2; back wages agreed to pay $2,574.25 for 2 employees in that agreement field; civil monetary penalties assessed $0. Findings dates describe when findings occurred, not when the case opened or closed; findings can include no violation found. Agreed-to-pay and assessed amounts are not proof of payment or a current balance. No amounts or employee counts are summed across cases or statutes. DOL changed violation counting for records loaded from October 1, 2025, so those counts should not be directly compared across that cutoff. Historical employer names do not establish current ownership, legal registration or ongoing violations. Source: https://data.dol.gov/datasets/10362
