Household hazardous waste, electronics, mattresses, scrap metal, tires, toilets, and general trash are not accepted. Those materials must be taken to the SCRAP facility at 639 Landfill Road, Dillon, CO 80435.

Great location and has all the standard split recycling options. Large containers are never overly full. No options for metal or plastics coded anything other than 1 or 2. It beats throwing away glass and they even accept motor oil and batteries!

outdoor facility (never closed) accepts separated: clear glass colored glass 1-PETE 2-HDPE mixed metal mixed paper cardboard scrap metal AAA-D batteries used motor oil. Picture is old from 2006 before recycling center was paved. Each bin is a covered 10-yard container 4-stairs up to platform not handicap friendly. No 5-PP or 6-PS accepted.

So glad they offer recycling with as many visitors come through Breck and Frisco and so great to see so many people using it!
